The Hayloft Hub’s Community Guidelines, Terms & Conditions

The Hayloft Hub is an inclusive community. It is critical that we respect each other and the space, and we hold space for others that may not have the same values in life. We also expect our members speak to each other and about each other with respect.

If any member of the Hayloft Hub community is found to be disrespecting another member of the community either directly or indirectly, there membership in the community will be cancelled.

We are an open plan workspace, so please keep that in mind. If you need to take a call or an online meeting, we request all members and guests check with each other before they take the call at their desk and instead utilise the break out spaces and residents only meeting room (or the other meeting rooms if they are available).

It is also expected that members treat the space with respect. You are required to chip in with communal activities like unloading and loading the dishwasher, scrubbing the toilet bowl and using the air freshner if things get a bit messy and avoid reheating strong smelling foods in the microwave.

When using the open plan office area, please consider others when having conversations with your co-working members. We are here to collaborate but if a conversation is getting loud or others around you are trying to focus, take the conversation to our break out spaces and meeting rooms.

If anyone is found to have stolen or damaged property belonging to other members or the Hayloft Hub, abused or harrassed another member, their membership will be cancelled immediately and without notice. A refund will not be provided and if the incident is serious, it will be reported to police.

If it comes to light that any member is conducting any business that could be considered illegal, the owners of the Hayloft Hub will report them immediately to the police. We are here for the community, not criminals.
